Changelog

Release history for WHMCS Required Email Verification, starting with Stable 1.0.0.

1.1.5 — Current Stable Release (Licensed Edition)

The commercial edition provides email verification. SMS is not included in this release.

  • Fixed a session error that could prevent an authorized WHMCS administrator from activating a license.
  • Confirmed in production on clients.herza.io: the purchased license activated, the registered domain, IP address and directory appeared in Manage, and the account owner completed verification with a real email OTP.

1.1.4

  • Simplified activation: enter the license key and the addon detects the installation details automatically.
  • Login and checkout restrictions and OTP sending now require a valid production license. Previously saved settings and verification records are retained.

1.1.3

  • Introduced the first numbered licensed customer package. Administrators can activate a key directly from Addon Modules → Configure.
  • The buyer portal displays license status and registered installation details under Manage.

1.0.0 — Stable Release

Released on 28 October 2026.

  • Requires the main account owner to verify their login email before Client Area access or checkout when enabled.
  • Uses the WHMCS mail provider for single-use OTPs, recognizes existing native WHMCS owner verification, and supports English and Indonesian.
  • Passed browser acceptance with a real email OTP and verification of the encoded package.
