Product Scope

TrueNAS Backup Manager connects WHMCS services to module-owned TrueNAS storage accounts. The commercial module identifier is hzstorage. Its source includes location/node selection, quotas, protocol controls, IP access rules and snapshots.

Supported Workflows In The Preview

Provision a new storage service on an assigned NAS node.
Manage protocol access and source IP permissions for that storage account.
View capacity, usage and access details.
Create and restore eligible snapshots; manage service lifecycle actions.

The available commercial documentation describes a development candidate, not a public Stable release. These guides cover fresh module-owned accounts. Imports from other modules and arbitrary existing datasets are outside the initial documented scope.

The documented IP list is scoped to a storage service/account and enforced across its protocols. Do not assume that changing one service propagates the list to every service owned by the same WHMCS client.
