Add The NAS Server
- In the WHMCS server configuration, choose the
hzstoragemodule. - Enter the NAS HTTPS hostname and API port and enable Secure SSL.
- For API-key authentication, use
apikeyas Username and the authorized API key as Password. - Set Access Hash to the explicitly assigned, existing parent dataset.
- Use Test Connection to verify the selected node and dataset.
Configure The Product
The documented product settings include Storage GiB, Snapshot Limit and Node Mapping JSON. For multiple nodes, map stable Location dropdown choices to enabled WHMCS server IDs. Use clear public location labels.
Already provisioned services remain pinned to their assigned node. Changing a mapping is not a supported method for manually moving existing NAS ownership.
Provision One Test Service
- Create a disposable service on the test product. Protocols initially remain closed.
- Check its capacity, assigned node and account details.
- Add the actual client source IP to that storage account’s access list.
- Enable only the required protocol and connect from that source using the displayed access details.
- Test disable/re-enable, access-list changes, snapshots and lifecycle actions with disposable data before making the product available.
Keep Credentials Out Of Public Fields
Store API credentials only in their intended protected fields. Do not include keys in product names, descriptions, screenshots or support messages.
