Architecture
HERZA VPN Manager links a WHMCS provisioning module to a separate provisioning API, FreeRADIUS account management, MariaDB accounting and MikroTik VPN servers. The WHMCS module is only one component; uploading it does not create a complete VPN platform.
Current Scope
The available project checkpoint identifies module 0.1.0-rc.2 as a Release Candidate, not Stable. Commercial distribution and a supported customer installation procedure are not yet published here.
The documented pilot includes account lifecycle operations and accounting history. Its Windows native L2TP/IPsec validation is IPv4-only; protection for native client IPv6 is not claimed.
Deployment Planning
- Plan the WHMCS-to-API trust and authentication boundary.
- Prepare RADIUS database/accounting and router connectivity.
- Define package policies, lifecycle actions and disconnect behaviour.
- Validate an isolated customer journey, credential handling and session history.
- Plan backup, recovery and capacity testing for the whole system.
